Florida League Division II registration is now open. For its 13th season the league will once again provide college baseball players the opportunity to hone their skills in preparation for Fall '21 college workouts.

Division II is for graduated high school seniors as well as current college baseball players. As long as individuals are on a college roster or committed to play somewhere in the fall they can register to play.

The season features a 15-20 game schedule played at multiple venues in Central Florida. Roster sizes are restricted to allow for maximum opportunity for participants to develop their skills. The 2021 season will run June 7-July 24.

Playing in Florida League Division II remains affordable. Player fees are $749 for a position player or $349 for a pitcher only. No overnight hotel stays are required since games are centralized within the existing Florida League footprint. Housing and transportation is not provided.

For current college players, one of the biggest benefits of playing in Division II of the Florida League is that when a roster opening happens on one of the six elite Florida League teams, they may receive the opportunity to be "called-up". Each year, there are typically 5-10 players who receive this kind of promotion. In addition, eligible players participating in the league will be invited to a FREE pre-season tryout in front of all six Florida League coaches.

Florida League Division II is a great opportunity for college baseball players to supplement their summer workout regimen with game repetitions while ensuring they are playing at their best going into Fall tryouts.
