Leesburg came out swinging in the 2nd. Tanner Clark got it started with a 2-RBI single. Two singles from Zach West and Deven Kirkland brought in 2 more runs for the Thunder, which were part of a 7-run 2nd inning

Sanford put up 2 runs in the 4th thanks to a Will Phillips RBI double, as well as a sacrifice fly from Christian Julius.  

Three singles in a row started off the 6th inning for Leesburg. Trace Thornal brought in 2 runs with an RBI double, followed by an RBI single from Spencer Taylor, giving Leesburg a 14-5 lead.

Three more runs for Leesburg in the 7th ended the game in run-rule fashion. The winning pitcher was Cameron Recny, allowing 6 hits and 2 earned runs in 4 innings of work.
